Next month, between August 5 and 28, there will be “significantly” fewer South West Trains services while work to extend platforms at Waterloo Station is carried out.
The aim is to introduce longer trains to provide more space for passengers.
Stations in or around London, such as London Waterloo, Clapham Junction, Vauxhall and Wimbledon are expected to be exceptionally busy during this time.
SWTs “strongly advises passengers to avoid travelling during the busiest morning and evening periods if possible”.
